The LCD Keypad Shield is an easy way to integrate a character display with the Arduino. This is a 16×2 Character LCD with white text on blue backlight.
This LCD Shield also consists of 5 independent keys which can easily be setup as up, down, left, right, and select. To minimize the I/O pins, the keypad interfaces uses only one analog channel (A0). The key is read through a 5 stage voltage divider.
